Does Your Love Life Epically Suck? Follow These 4 Steps To Turn It Around
Mar 27, Advice. One of my favorite, long-time Tarot clients, for sure. He should be getting pummeled with romantic advances! But what?
If dating is a real source of stress in your life, you need to sit down and rethink your approach. Finding an attractive person to spend time with doesn’t have to be.
All that us single people I refuse to call us singletons really want right now is some physical touch, someone to share the cooking duties and watch shitty television with. At the start of this year, or P. C as I like to call it pre-corona , I foolishly believed was going to be my year, romantically speaking. I knew — like many people know about themselves — that I was my own worst enemy when it came to virtual dating.
Instead of spending another year swiping perfectly lovely people into oblivion for wearing the wrong pair of shoes, I decided that for the duration of the year, I was going to conduct a social experiment. Instead of using dating apps, once a month, I would give my number out to someone I found attractive. So here I was, forcing myself to do something I found utterly terrifying, all in the hope that it would stop me being such a judgemental, self-sabotaging piece of work.
I was three months into my little experiment when coronavirus hit. At first, I was adamant that post-lockdown, the number handing out would continue. I learnt how to be alone.
While us women have always gone through multiple issues with men, social media has allowed us to unite with hashtags and understand the symptoms of men that are TRASH, with instructions on how to stay clear of these men! But is it just me or is it the same type of women who go through these crazy issues with men? I mean think about it.

The following article is not meant to scare you, it is meant to show you the truth. If the truth is frightening, keep reading. If the truth is intriguing, keep reading. By the end, we hope the truth will become comforting. The fact is, you are the creator of your entire experience. Whether you like it or not, you are constantly creating every experience of your life with what you choose to think, feel, say and do.
You are not a victim of bad luck or bad people. And, you kept choosing them, regardless of the red flags flapping wildly in your face. You chose the guy who slept with your bestie and disappeared without a trace. You chose your bestie, too. Yep, you chose her. We always have choice, and nobody is responsible for your choices but you.
This is the truth you must accept if you are to create the love life of your dreams. Once you have acknowledged that you are, without a doubt, writing your own story, you can then begin to consciously write whatever you like!

In this stream, intimacy and relationship coach Micki Allen talks about what to do if you love your partner, but your sex life is suffering. You can begin by identifying any external factors affecting libido — medication, mental health issues, work hours and schedule, kids, changing bodies and self-perceived flaws, etc. But simply defining and talking about the external factors takes honesty and vulnerability, and this form of communication, in and of itself, can be an intimate experience.
Besides being emotionally intimate through communication, you can try exploring other forms of intimacy before attempting physical intimacy. You can be intellectually intimate by connecting on ideas, books, or ways of seeing the world. You can be experientially intimate by sharing new bonding experiences like traveling, or simply going on a hike together. You can either communicate your wants and needs, or figure those things out together through sensual massage or pleasure mapping.
Sex, like any other skill, can be developed and the first step is knowing what you want. If you want your partner to be more sexually adventurous , or explore kink, Allen suggests finding a movie — not porn — where your kink is represented.

Since you are married. You brought your A-game you always used to put your best foot forward, you were charming, witty, empathic and cool, and you always found super fun things to do while you were courting your partner. You had previously been enjoyable. Actually actually enjoyable. However now you figure that the hard part is over and you have little incentive to extend that effort to seduce another person into loving you that you are married. You will simply lay straight back and luxuriate in.

But if your Love Life sucks at the moment, how are you supposed to stay positive about the idea of finding True Love? When the guys who seem promising just sort of disappear after a few dates in a puff of smoke…. Three things can help you turn this around and stay positive, so you can keep your momentum strong and bring in real love. When you have a hard time dating and have bad experiences, you develop new, deep-seated, negative beliefs about dating.
Those beliefs start to drive your dating behavior. When you have negative beliefs driving the dating behavior, you get more negative results or you interpret them negatively , which reinforce those beliefs even more. Your last boyfriend Ted was always broke so you had to pay for a lot of your dates. After you broke up you kept attracting cheap guys, because of the deep-down belief you have that all guys are cheap.
Every time you dated another cheap guy who you had actually attracted with the deep-down belief , you reinforced your belief that all guys are cheap. Take a break from the cycle! Come out of it, get some healing and clear out those negative beliefs about men, love, dating, relationships, etc.

I’ve been single for five years, almost six. I’m a single mom to an awesome boy but my love life sucks so bad. I have so much love to give and no partner to give it to. I’ve been online dating with okay results, met some nice guys but at the end they just stop talking to me, ghost out on me, and I never hear from them again.
Then I had one who we talked for three months and just turned out to be so mean, calling me weird, and wishing the next guy who puts up with me luck. What am I doing so wrong? I’m down to earth, I don’t do the texting constantly or calling, plus nowadays people don’t talk on the phone. I give people their personal space, I understand boundaries, so why the mean comments?
I know god has a plan for me and I shouldn’t rush things. I just don’t know what’s going on. Click to choose posts category Show expert posts Show community posts.
